About EazyCity
Two friends, one office on Oliver Plunkett Street, and 20+ years of arrivals.
EazyCity was founded in Cork in 2004 by Julia Lynes and Enrico Zoppi, two people who had already moved country themselves and knew exactly how hard the first month is. What began as a two-person office is now a team of almost fifty across five countries.

Our story
Travel and business, like two peas in a pod.
Julia and Enrico put the company down to the years they spent living and working abroad: bravery, curiosity, stubbornness and a strong sense of adventure.
Having spent years travelling and working abroad, the two founders had learned the same lesson: moving to a new country is far harder than it needs to be. That realisation pushed them to build the fix.
From a tiny two-person office in Cork, EazyCity grew into an international live-abroad agency with almost fifty staff and offices in Ireland, the UK, Spain and Italy, with the United States next.

Julia Lynes and Enrico Zoppi start EazyCity from a single room, placing a handful of students with local families.

Beyond one city
Dublin and Galway join the map as universities and language schools start sending students directly.

Offices open outside Ireland; the staff becomes a mix of nationalities who have all moved country themselves.

Whatever the reason for the move, taking the plunge takes courage. Our job is to make the experience warmer, fairer, more straightforward and a hundred times less stressful.
We have done it ourselves
Every person on the team lives abroad or has done. We know how it feels to move to a new city and country: lock, stock and two smoking barrels.

We want the team to be the people you can call when you are far from home, so that even travelling alone never feels alone.
