Homestay questions
The things people ask before booking a family.
Everything else lives in the Knowledge Base once you have booked.
How do I know the host family's address?
Contact our team through Tickets & Support and we will send you the details.
Are meals provided during the duration of a stay with a host family?
Half board — breakfast and dinner. Full board — breakfast, lunch and dinner. Self-catering — some families are happy for you to use the kitchen and cook for yourself. Tell us which you want at the time of booking.
What is the booking fee?
The booking fee secures and guarantees your room for a specific period, so the accommodation is reserved exclusively for you for that time.
How long does it take to receive the host family's address?
Contact our team through Tickets & Support and we will send you the details.
Can I specify a preferred location for my host family?
You can tell us your preference, but we cannot guarantee it.
What if I have issues with my host family?
Tell your city coordinator straight away. We speak to the family first, and if it cannot be resolved we move you to another host family or another type of accommodation.
How often is laundry service available?
Your host will provide a laundry service once a week.
