Our company beliefs

Six beliefs that decide how we answer the phone.

Values are easy to write and hard to keep. These six are the ones we actually argue about in the Cork office, and they are the reason a booking with us feels different from a booking with a listings site.

“If it would not be good enough for our own family, it is not good enough to sell.”

What we stand for

The six things we will not trade away.

Every one of these started as a habit before it became a belief. They shape who we hire, which landlords we sign and what we say when something goes wrong.

01

Big on family

We are a tight team of people who love to travel, and we treat the students and workers we place the same way we treat each other. That is why our team keeps checking in long after the keys are handed over.

02

Always going places

The name is not only about flights. We want to be the best live abroad agency in the world, and we measure ourselves against that every year rather than against the agency down the street.

03

Life-changing experiences

Julia and Enrico built this company because moving abroad changed their own lives. Two decades later, that is still the reason the office is open on a Saturday when a flight gets cancelled.

04

Always improving

We started as two people in one small room. We are now close to fifty across offices in several countries, and every process we run today was rewritten by someone who thought it could be better.

05

Positive and open to change

A good day in the office turns into a good day for a customer. We hire for optimism and we protect it, because it is what makes people go past what was strictly asked of them.

06

Fairness, like!

A very Cork way of saying it. Fair rates for hosts, fair deposits for tenants, fair hours for staff. If a policy only works for one side of the deal, it does not survive here.

Beliefs, translated

What each of these actually costs us.

  • Every property is viewed by a person

We do not list a room we have not stood in. It slows us down and it is the single biggest reason our complaint rate stays low.

  • Deposits are held, not spent

Your security deposit sits untouched and is returned in full when the property checks out. No admin fees skimmed off the top.

  • The emergency line is answered by staff

No call centre, no script. Out of hours you reach someone from your city team who can actually make a decision.

  • We publish what a stay really costs

Bills, deposit, fees and any extras are shown before you pay, not discovered on arrival.
